Pen Island (pronounced, pɛn ˈaɪlənd not ˈpiːnɪs lænd) (in-game: PenIsland) was a faction created by Quackity. It was easily the largest country by land area in North America, and consequently one of the largest on SMP Earth.
Pen Island administered all Latin American land from the 32nd Parallel to the midway point of Panama, though Baja California is not under their jurisdiction. Pen Island also controlled the Galapagos Islands, located off the west coast of nearby South America.
The faction was removed during the Fourth Faction Reset on Day 76 and has yet to be reestablished.
History
Day 1
Pen Island was formed on Day 1 and claimed central Mexico, however, the claims were lost after the faction reset. Original member 24FramesOfNick is yet to rejoin the faction.
Day 2
Quackity and aksually reclaimed the entirety of Mexico and large amounts of Texas, excluding Baja California and Baja California Sur which remain under the control of San Diego
Day 3
During the dawn of Day 3, Quackity and aksually set out to claim Central America for Pen Island. By the time they had stopped they had most of Central America, minus a few spots in and around Guatemala. The Galapagos Islands were also claimed.
During Day 3, Quackity worked on construction of a pathway which runs through Mexico, similar to the Trans-Atlantic Bridge constructed by WilburSoot. At this point it is unknown if he plans on charging a tax for use of the pathway
Pen Island allied with Pogland and England.
Day 4
Hooverr rejoined the faction after it was originally lost because of the faction reset.
Poyo and the USSR were formally declared as enemies of Pen Island after they referred to the faction by the horrendous and unexpected slur "Penis Land".
Day 5
In the early morning of Day 5, Pen Island allied with The Inquisition.
