Thatch is a vampire who studies at Scare School and is Casper's rival and enemy, and like the principals and teachers, he totally values evil and despises kindness. He is the biggest bully in the school, and is always coming up with schemes to get along and also get Casper and his friends in trouble; In his debut in the pilot film, he gives himself the role of "secret spy" for Alder and Dash, overseeing Casper's behavior for them.
Biograpy
Thatch leads a gang of bullies at school whose goal is to have fun bullying and annoying other students and carry out his evil plans. In the season 2, he replaces the school principals, Alder and Dash, as the main antagonist, having a much more evil and manipulative personality and revolting even with the teachers, in addition to coming up with and carrying out plans much more dangerous and risky than before.
Personality
Thatch is rude, annoying, rebellious, manipulative, and sadistic, and is always bothering his classmates, often mocking and laughing at them for their more personal problems, as well as constantly bullying others, both verbally and physically. Like Alder and Dash, he completely despises anyone who is nice or friendly to others, choosing them as his main target for bullying.
Thatch has his own gang (which consists of Mosshead, Dummy Girl, Slither, and sometimes Harpy) whose main objective is to help him get away with his evil plans and mock other students, especially Casper, Ra, and Mantha, whom they are always trying to get into trouble.
He has shown to be smart, although he only uses his intelligence for his best interests, which in this case are to create trouble for other students, mainly Casper, and many of his evil plans against him are successfully executed, although in the end they always result in a punishment for himself. He is also shown to be the only student to easily uncover Casper's secrets and plans on multiple occasions.
He has also shown himself to be self-interested and greedy, as he gave himself the position of "secret spy" of the principals in exchange for a office and a cape like theirs, or when he pretends to be friends with Ra, being nice and friendly with him for an entire day just to get his riches, which shows the degree of his lying and manipulative tricks, which later became much more significant and prominent in season 2, such as when he tricks Dummy Girl into helping improve his performance in classes, saying he'd give her vampire teeth in exchange for the favor.
He hate fleshies, and is always attending classes and excursions to scare them, however, the second season shows that he is not always good at this, failing to scare others many times, as well as performing poorly in every subjects, and the fact that Casper wins awards every year for being the best in every class makes him even more angry.
Despite everything, Thatch has already shown to have a sensitive side; he collects several rubber duckies in his bed in secret, and even cried when Casper, Ra and Mantha found out about this secret, however, they still have compassion for him and help him get on with his collection.
Appearance
Thatch has dark gray skin, purple eyes, and hair with long, spiky bangs and a skunk stripe. He also has very sharp fangs and pointy ears; The fingernails on both of his hands are painted black. His attire consists of a white button-down shirt along with a black leather cape with a red inner side and a high collar, as well as black jeans with a chain, a brown belt, and black sneakers.
Powers and Abilities
- Bat Form: As a typical vampire, Thatch has the ability to transform into a bat, which is useful in times of escape or to reach higher places. In the movie his transformation was into a full bat, while in the series the transformation was only from his feet to his neck, with his head remaining the same.
- Strong Bite: Thanks to his sharp fangs, he is able to break almost any type of object with one strong bite, although this is most notably demonstrated in the movie. He also claims that through biting, he can make others become his followers, another common vampire ability, though he has never seen using it.
- Camouflage: In darker places, he can use his cloak to hide easily; notably shown in "Disarmed and Dangerous".

Trivia
- What sets Thatch apart from a regular vampire is his resistance to daylight, showing no signs of weakness during the morning or afternoon. He is also never seen consuming blood like other vampires, although in the film he claims to have drunk blood during a call with his mother.
