Synopsis
Scare School students take an excursion to Deedstown on a Halloween night.
Plot
The Scare School students are on a trip to Deedstown to scare in the night. They end up getting confused that no humans are reacting and that many of them are dressing up as creatures, which is when Casper finally realizes what is going on, and explains to his classmates about Halloween, a time when humans costume up as creatures and search for candy, which is not known in the Underworld.
When Alder and Dash ring the bell for the students to go back to the ship, Thatch decides to stay and try to scare some human, and is invited by three kids (who also think he's just a vampire costume) to attend a party at one of the kids' houses, and he accepts, confident that he'll succeed at the party and scare someone there. Casper realizes that Thatch has been left behind, and he goes back alone to look for him.
At the party, Thatch tries to bite one of the guests, but doesn't do much because his fangs were hurt by a child earlier, and he is put in the punishment corner by the owner of the house because of his behavior. While Casper is searching for Thatch, Mantha and Ra convince the principals to have the ship return to Deedstown to pick up both of them. Thatch, after consuming too much sugar, gets out of control and makes the children angry and starts attacking him.
Casper finally finds Thatch and tries to help him, and finds out that he can't turn into a bat because he ate too much candy from the humans, and then he gets the idea to reveal that they are real creatures to try to scare them, but the kids and the mother end up getting even more severe for discovering that there is a vampire and a ghost ruining their party. The ship finally appears and Casper and Thatch are saved, but when asked what happened, Thatch says that he helped Casper, and is rewarded with candy from the humans, which just by seeing it makes him feel bad again.
