That was so uncool...
Slither is a snake-like crawling creature who studies at Scare School. He is known for being calm and quiet, but is also one of the most mischievous and troublemaking students in the school, often participating in Thatch's pranks and evil plans, along with Dummy Girl and Mosshead.
Appearance
Slither has gray skin, light purple eyes, and long white hair with a streak falling over his face, which he usually blows off. He has a black unibrow, pointed ears, small nostrils, and dark circles under his eyes. He also has two snake tentacles with purple stripes for arms.
He appears to have no lower limbs, being seen slithering to walk, hence his name. He wears a dark blue cloak with a high collar, which hides his lower body.
Personality

Slither is calm, but also mischievous and rebellious, and stands out among the more prominent members in Thatch's gang of troublemakers.
Like Dummy Girl and Mosshead, he almost always follows Thatch's orders, no matter it is, but at the same time, he seems to be the most sensible one in the gang, as in "Bully for You", where he tells Thatch that he should change after everyone in the school started turning against him and his pranks.
While Slither certainly doesn't have good intentions, he is also one of the least aggressive bullies in the school, not using physical bullying (at least not often) and usually only using teasing.
Slither is also almost always involved in any pranks or evil plans made by Thatch. He is one of the school's quietest students and doesn't talk too much, having a rather dark and mysterious demeanor.
Like Thatch, he despises friendly creatures with less experience in scaring, such as Casper. Despite his quiet nature, he is not a loner, and is always hanging out not only with his gang, but also with his classmates.
He also proves to be intelligent and well-informed, as in "Curse Of The Sandwich", when he informs Thatch that the Amulet of Bamboozlement is fake.
Powers/Abilities
- Tentacles Stretching: Slither has shown to be able to extend his tentacles, which is used to reach people or objects from a long distance. The only time this ability was shown was in the episode "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad Underworld".

Relationships and Interactions
Thatch

Slither and Thatch seem to get along very well, as they are almost always seen hanging out and talking together, and Slither is also part of Thatch's gang.
Although Slither almost always obeys whatever Thatch sends him (as well as the other gang members), there are times when he refuses to help the vampire boy in certain plans, such as in "Bully for You", where he refuses to continue causing trouble with Thatch, and tells him that it's time for him to stop, after everyone at school revolts against his behavior; In "Bands on the Run", Slither denies Thatch's request to join his band, more because he doesn't have a hand to play a guitar than because he doesn't want to.
In season 2, while Dummy Girl replaces Mosshead as Thatch's first sidekick, Slither replaces her as the second sidekick.
Dummy Girl

Dummy Girl and Slither's interactions are most notable in season 1, featuring the first episode, "Fang Decay", where Slither unintentionally saves her from a fall, which ends up resulting in the two looking at each other happily for a brief moment, before of talking about hooking up later, and then pulling away from each other; this scene hints that the two are possibly in love, though this is never addressed in later episodes, though she is still seen alongside Slither occasionally.
In later episodes, the two are sometimes seen arguing, making fun of each other, or even fighting, as Slither once mocked her by indirectly saying that she isn't funny, and ends up getting slapped.
Mosshead
Mosshead and Slither are often seen hanging out together and helping Thatch carry out his plans, but otherwise they never really got to interact with each other, except for giving a high five in "Vote for Casper".
Ra
Slither, like the rest of Thatch's gang (except Harpy), dislikes Ra and thinks he's a loser, however, he changed his opinion about him for a period of time in "The Ra-minator"; Slither first greets and high fives the mummy boy, then lets him sit in Thatch's seat in the cafeteria along with the rest of the gang. In the end, he finds out along with the rest of the school that Ra's "powers" were fake and returns to dislike him.
In "Whiz Kid Ra", it becomes even more evident that Slither really hates Ra and finds him annoying, since, in addition to tricking him along with the rest of the gang to get their riches, he still mocks him, first behind his back, and later for him.
Casper
There isn't much interaction between Slither and Casper, but it can be said that Slither doesn't like him, as he constantly contributes to Thatch's plans that involve causing trouble for Casper.
Trivia
- In "Back to Ghoul", it is shown that Slither has difficulty jumping due to his lack of legs.
- Slither is one of the only characters whose look has remained the same from the film to the series, not showing any significant differences.
- He appeared to be in a love interest with Dummy Girl in "Fang Decay", although this was never addressed later.
- Slither is the third most peaceful member in Thatch's clique, with the first being Harpy and the second being Mosshead.
