The Welcome Bagi! was an event held on September 16, 2023 that introduced Bagi as the new member of the QSMP.[1]
The Event, in addition to presenting the person chosen by President Forever, she appeared in a supposed residence of Walter Bob, and the other Islanders went after her and solved riddles to rescue her.
Background
Upon awakening with fragmented memories, Bagi found herself in an expansive, open chamber centered around a colossal tree. She traversed the area in search of any signs of life or clues about her location but met with little success. While exploring, she stumbled upon a chest containing a book and a sizeable Fortune Wheel positioned before her. Curiously, she gave the wheel a spin, and it landed on the number two. As she pondered its significance, the ground beneath her abruptly ruptured, plunging her into frigid waters below.
She gazed at the wintry mountains surrounding her and noticed a glowing chain of torches illuminating a path. Following this beaconed trail, she reached the end where a beacon rose into the sky. Beneath its radiant beam lay another chest, this time stocked with food and yet another book. In the distance, she discerned more beacons guiding her way, so she journeyed through each, collecting the books they offered.
Among the contents of the final chest, she discovered a boarding pass bearing the name "BAGI." She retrieved it and patiently awaited what would come next.
History
Bagi found herself in the basement of an old, frigid, and snow-covered site. In her possession, she clutched a travel ticket marked with the number #0001, although the mode of transportation it represented remained a mystery. Ascending the stairs, she was greeted by the long-lost figure, Walter Bob. In their introduction, both acknowledged their shared confusion about their whereabouts and origins. Bagi admitted her amnesia and the fear it evoked, to which Walter Bob offered his assistance. They embarked on a tour of the building, with Walter Bob providing her valuable insights on how to survive on the enigmatic Quesadilla Island. He became Bagi's first friend in this unfamiliar place, guiding her and imparting essential knowledge. Before parting ways, Walter entrusted Bagi with a book and a letter meant for Pac and Mike, tasking her with their delivery.
Simultaneously, the other residents, while patiently waiting in the dome, engaged in a wheel-spinning activity left behind. Landing on "2," they found themselves transported to a colossal arena. Beneath their feet, a massive sea of rising lava posed a growing threat. Throughout the arena were colossal statues, each harboring intricate puzzles or obstacle courses. Adjacent to the challenges were bookshelves stocked with encrypted texts for a puzzle to be solved. The residents divided into teams to find the books and decode the messages to secure their escape. The teams were composed of BadBoyHalo, Nihachu, and Polispol; Cellbit, Roier, and Tubbo; Foolish, Pac, and Quackity; Forever, Ironmouse, Lenay, and TinaKitten.
Upon assembling the books, they discovered a riddle. In one corner of the giant dome arena, there was a chamber where a code could be entered, revealing an elevator that would take them to Bagi. Upon their introduction, they swiftly set to work on solving the riddles, mindful of the encroaching lava. When they encountered a password-protected door, they pieced together the answer by examining the number books within the statues. They entered the solution into a lantern at the center of the dome, securing their release from the perilous arena.
Once safely back on familiar ground, they gave Bagi a tour and celebrated with a churrasco at Roier's place. Bagi even had the opportunity to converse in Portuguese with Quackity. After the festivities, when the group dispersed, Bagi explored the island on her own and gathered essential resources. Before departing, she temporarily settled in one of the Copacabana buildings.
