Movie Night

Movie Night was a mini-event first announced on July 20th, 2023^[1] and was held on July 21st, 2023 (Day 122) at 2:00 p.m. PST. It was made for the Members to watch fan-created animations and clips of the QSMP.

The community was able to submit their best animations or clips from the series using the hashtag "#QSMPCinema" on Twitter.^[2]

History

The much-anticipated presentations took place in the former theater, which had been renovated and transformed into a new, modern cinema on the island. The venue was stunning, adorned with various creative and captivating posters, all conceived by the talented QSMP community. Each poster was a true work of art, expressing the love for cinema and the dedication of QSMP members to their shared passion.

As the participants arrived, they were welcomed by an attentive team composed of Walter Bob, Philza, and Chayanne, who handed out refreshing drinks and delicious popcorn at the event's entrance, ensuring them their tickets to access the venue. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as everyone settled into their seats, eager for what was to come.

The ambiance was filled with a fun energy, with laughter and lively conversations filling the air. As the lights gradually dimmed, silence took over the room, signaling the start of the much-awaited presentations with the arrival of Cucurucho, who instructed the participants to press a red button located in front of their seats and the screen, which shuffled a selection of videos and clips to be played. On the screen, a true visual feast awaited the participants, with an exciting array of animations and clips, covering a wide variety of styles and themes.

Artistic diversity was evident in each showcased work, from the most delicate and poetic animations to the energy-filled and dynamic clips. The attentive gazes and wondrous smiles were evidence of the enchantment the event brought to the attendees.

At the end of each presentation, warm applause echoed throughout the room, celebrating the talent of the creators and the unique cinematic experience they had all shared. It was clear that the island's cinema had become a true cultural and artistic hub, further inspiring the QSMP community to continue creating and sharing their passions with the world.
