Wicke is a character appearing in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon. She works for the Aether Foundation, an organization that cares for sick and injured Pokémon and protects them from threats like Team Skull. Wicke is friendly and polite, and she takes the player on a tour of Aether Paradise during their first visit.
Appearance
Wicke has round spring green eyes and voluminous dark purple hair that reaches her shoulders. Her hair is styled into swoop like tufts, with her fringe brushed to the right, and a tuft of her hair curling against her right cheek. She has fair skin that indicates she spends most of her time out of the Alolan sun like most of her coworkers. She wears a pink knit sweater with a large turtle neck and long sleeves, indicating that the labs in the foundation are pretty cold. Bearing the symbol of Aether Foundation in the form of a gold pin on the collar of her sweater, she also wears her own version of the foundations white uniform. Styled as a white, waist high pencil skirt with white belt straps held in place with gold buttons, and a matching shoulder cape held together with a white strap and gold buttons. Her skirt has gold colored, outlined pockets and white, thigh high boots with gold colored heels. Her boots and cape have matching gold colored diamond-shaped decorations as well. She also wears a pair of thick rimmed pink glasses, that are cutely large, completing her intellectual but sweet demeanor. Being an older more nature woman, she has a more curvy body shape compared to other characters.
Personality
As the assistant branch chief of Aether Paradise, Wicke has many responsibilities which she handles with great care. She takes pride in her work, nurturing sick pokemon and being dedicated to the foundations ideals. With her polite and friendly demeanor, and kind smile she's loved by all the Aether Foundation employees as a workplace mother. However, she's shown in her early interaction to not have a good relationship with her superior, Faba, do to their conflicting personalities, but she keeps things civil on her end.
Wick is also shown to be very formal and professional when referring to other people, calling Lillie 'Miss' and Gladion 'Young Master'.
According to Lillie, Wicke was taking care of Lillie and Gladion when their mother, Lusamine started to act insane, taking the role of a Mother figure to the siblings when Lusamine wasn't there for them.
It's also shown that Wicke is good at her job, seeing as in game it was implied she was leaking information to the International Police and Looker when Lusamine's insanity and obsession started to warp the Aether Foundation.
Biography
Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon
Wicke is one of the admins of the Aether Foundation. She first appears when the player and Hau visit Aether Paradise together for the first time. Wicke is tasked by Faba to show the two protagonists around Aether Paradise. After doing so, she first gives Hau some malasadas and then gives the player TM029 (Psychic).
Wicke is encountered at the Aether Paradise a second time, helping not only the player and Hau, but also Gladion. Though she works for the Aether Foundation, Wicke is shown to disagree with her boss, Lusamine, for obsessing over the Ultra Beasts. With the help of Wicke, the player is able to enter the Secret Labs in the basement and learn about Cosmog being an Ultra Beast.
The player can receive a level 60 Type: Null from Wicke at one point.
After the player has entered the Hall of Fame, Wicke assists them during the Ultra Beasts mission by giving them Beast Balls to help capture them.
Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon
In Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon, Wicke helps during the Team Rainbow Rocket episode instead.
