Shimmer Desert is one of the seven treasures dungeons in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky. It has 10 floors to the dungeon and at the end of the dungeon the player must face Groudon. If Groudon is defeat, the Player is awarded a Terra Cymbal and has a chance to recruit Groudon. The dungeons cannot be unlocked through normal means and can only be unlocked with Wonder Mail, Wifi-connection, or from a Pokémon in Spinda's Café in Explorers of Sky.
Shimmer Desert is located at the northwesternmost end of the desert area on the Wonder Map.
