Temporal Tower is a restriction-free dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, Darkness and Sky. It is the domain of the legendary Pokémon, Dialga, and is the final dungeon in the game's main story. The collapsed variant of the tower appears in two story cutscenes in Chapters 14 and 15 while the player, partner, and Grovyle are in the future. The collapsed variant of the tower can be explored once by players in Explorers of Sky during the special episode In the Future of Darkness as Grovyle.
It is located above the Hidden Land on the Wonder Map.
The only way to gain access to this dungeon is to obtain transport to Hidden Land by speaking to Lapras, who can be found at Treasure Town Beach. The player must then get their team through Hidden Land in order to reach Temporal Tower.
Plot
Temporal Tower is a special tower that gives structure and order to time. Darkrai somehow accessed the tower and sabotaged it so it would eventually collapse and cause the planet's paralysis, leading to the dark future. Grovyle, wanting to change the future, began collecting Time Gears which could prevent the tower's collapse permanently. Ultimately, the Player and Partner manage to insert the Time Gears and save the tower in the nick of time. Though damaged to an extreme, the tower survives and the dark future is prevented. Dialga sees to the repair of the tower, which is full restored by the next visit by the Player and Partner.
Temporal Tower is a dungeon with 24 floors (25 including the pinnacle) and has a relay point on the 13th floor. The player can expect to encounter a variety of Steel types with the exception of Solrock and Lunatone as well as several Dragon types. When playing as Grovyle in the special episode In the Future of Darkness, players will be confronted by mainly Ghost, Psychic and Poison types. Aside from Dialga, none of the Pokémon in Temporal Tower are recruitable.
The boss of this dungeon during the main story is Primal Dialga (not recruitable) and Dialga during post-story. Both are level 48 Pokémon and have been considered by players to be particularly difficult to defeat due to their punishing move sets. Dialga is the only Pokémon in the dungeon that is recruitable. It is notable for having a 100% recruit rate and will instantly join the player's team after it is defeated in the post story.

Trivia
- Despite Dialga being recruitable in this dungeon, it is impossible to bring Dialga as a team member into this dungeon due to the dungeon's restrictions.
