- "Hey Doc! Come look at this fellow on the radio, He looks just like you!"
- —Lizzie, ”Cars”
Lizzie is the owner of the Radiator Springs Curio shop, as well as Radiator Springs founder, Stanley's widow and co-founder. She is a 1923 Model T 2-Door Sedan that is painted black with purple tints in her rims. She is also the oldest living resident of Radiator Springs, experiencing frequent hearing issues and memory loss. All of this may imply she has a certain type of disease, possibly dementia or Alzheimer's.
In most of her appearances, Lizzie is seen as a crazy old lady, but in Time Travel Mater (her first major appearance), a flashback of her younger days are seen, where she is marrying Stanley.
History
Cars

In Cars, she owns the local curio shop and collects postcards that she sells and keeps as a hobby. She is first seen sleeping at her shop when race car Lightning McQueen drives into Radiator Springs and accidentally destroys the town's road. When he's brought up to court the next day, Lizzie angrily glares at him and supports Sally Carrera's decision to have Lightning fix the road. As Lightning fixes the road by pulling Bessie, Lizzie asks Red to move aside so she can watch Lightning work by calling him a "hot rod," implying she's developed some sort of a crush on him. When two cars Mini and Van arrive at Radiator Springs, he has a knack for sneaking up on people and slapping their rear end with a souvenir bumper sticker, which gets on most cars' nerves as a "way to remember 'them' by" and looks disappointed when they left.
When Lightning McQueen makes the road worse by trying to speed up his progress, Lizzie watches Doc Hudson challenge Lightning to a race and witnesses McQueen lose the race by falling into a cactus pit after failing to make a turn onto the dirt track. The next day, Lizzie joins the town's residents in driving on part of the new road that Lightning finished. She comments to Luigi that the new road makes his shop look like a dump, offending Luigi until he realizes that she is right. When Lightning continues to work on the road, Lizzie comments to him that people will think he's crazy if he keeps talking to himself Lightning sarcastically thanks her for giving him the tip, causing Lizzie to say that she wasn't talking to him.
At Flo's V8 Café, when Lightning McQueen tries to explain to everyone that Doc is a really famous race car, Lizzie bursts into laughter and does not believe him while commenting on how red Lightning is getting. Lizzie then watches Lightning leave with Sally to go out for a drive instead of running off.
When Lightning McQueen finally finishes fixing the road, Lizzie seems saddened as she believes Lightning left but becomes overjoyed when she sees that he hasn't left. When Lightning does shopping around town, Lizzie shows him around her shop and gives him three bumper stickers. After Lightning gets a makeover, he tries to signal Lizzie to turn on the radio and the town's fixed neon lights though she forgets so Red does it for her. Everyone begins to party around and have fun where Lizzie mistakenly cruises with Lightning, thinking he asked her when he asked Sally. Lizzie talks to Lightning about her life, but he manages to get away from and reunite with Sally, thanks to Mater. Lizzie, noticing how well the town came back to life, is seen talking to the statue of her husband, saying: "Oh, Stanley, I wish you could see this.", implying that she still misses him.
When Lightning is suddenly taken away by the press due to being informed by Doc, Lizzie becomes depressed and sadly walks into her shop, turning off her lights. Doc, regretting her decision, tells everyone of his time being a race car and grabs a handful of Radiator Springs' residents to support Lightning McQueen at the race in California while Lizzie, Red and Sally stay behind. As Lizzie, Red and Sally watch the race on TV, she forgets that Doc is at the race she yells for Doc to "come have a look at this fellow on the radio" who looks just like him (it was). Lizzie then watches Lightning forgo his chance to win the Piston Cup by helping the injured Strip Weathers cross the finish line, fondly remarking "That's my hot rod."
Lizzie is seen in the end credits where Radiator Springs is back on the map due to Lightning setting up his racing headquarters there and enjoys spending time with her friends.
Cars: The Videogame

In Cars: The Videogame, Lizzie is showing Lightning her postcard collection in her curio shop. Then Lightning accidentally knocks down a shelf, making another shelf tilt, then some Rust-eze cans slide down the shelf, making a bolt fall off the shelf, hitting the button on a fan, blowing the postcards out the door into the open world of Carburetor County. Lizzie thinks a blizzard is happening. Lightning decides to help her find the postcards.
Later, Lightning returns to Lizzie's with all 20 postcards. However, Lizzie did not remember him and that they got lost.
She is only playable in the PlayStation Portable version of the game.
Cars: Radiator Springs Adventures
In Cars: Radiator Springs Adventures, Lizzie appears as one of the customers that Lightning must provide drinks to at Flo's V8 Café.
Mater and the Ghostlight

In Mater and the Ghostlight, she appears in the scene where Mater tries to scare her while she is sleeping, but she never wakes up and continues sleeping. She then gathers around Flo's V8 Café to hear the story of the Ghostlight. Lizzie and the rest of the cars later appear at the end watching Mater being scared to death and when Sheriff explains to Mater it was not real.
Cars: Mater-National Championship
In Cars: Mater-National Championship, Lizzie is mostly seen slapping a bumper sticker onto Lightning after a stadium race or accomplishment such as beating all the levels of a certain minigame. She is playable only in the DS and Game Boy Advance versions of the game.

Time Travel Mater

In Time Travel Mater, Lizzie plays her first major role as Stanley's love interest. Lizzie first appears when Lightning questions Mater about how Lizzie and Stanley met. He then tells the story of how the two met.
When they travel into the year of 1927, they watch Stanley's eyes focus on the new car in town, Lizzie. Mater helps her when she breaks down near the newly founded Radiator Springs. When she sees Lightning, she appears to fall in love with him. Mater realizes that if Lizzie and Lightning get together, Stanley will leave and there will be no Radiator Springs! It's then revealed that Lizzie had her eye on Stanley. The two meet and they fall in love. Stanley gave Lizzie a cap that fits her fine and the two became fast friends and immediately began to like each other. Lightning and Mater then travel to the time of their wedding and Mater finishes the story. It is her wedding day with Stanley at the courthouse, and the two are married and begin to honeymoon.
When they return to the present, Lightning says there's no such thing as time travel, and then Lizzie appears and thanks Lightning for introducing her to Stanley and the opposite.

The World of Cars Online

Cars 2
In Cars 2, Lizzie is only seen in the crowd of townies greeting Lightning McQueen when he comes back home to Radiator Springs with Mack but didn't even know that he was gone all this time. Strangely, she and Mack do not watch and hear the Mel Dorado Show of the Italian Formula Car Francesco Bernoulli insulting Mater and Lightning McQueen inside the Wheel Well Motel and see Team Lightning McQueen fly off to Tokyo, Japan at the Airport for the World Grand Prix. More Strange, when Lightning calls his friends from Radiator Springs about Mater turning out to be still missing, Lizzie and Mack did not go to London with them to battle against the lemons, and watch Mater getting knighted at the Queen of England. At the end while Mater is telling a story she talks with Mack, about how crazy Holley Shiftwell is for keeping a dent. A Lot More Strange, she and Mack did not cheer for Lightning McQueen at the Radiator Springs Grand Prix.
Cars: Fast as Lightning
In Cars: Fast as Lightning, Lizzie is one of the few non-playable characters to appear in the game. According to the Gameloft website, this is because of her old age. She can be found driving around the player's town and will sometimes provide the player with additional challenges to complete.
Cars 3

In Cars 3, Lizzie first appears at her shop sleeping after McQueen's crash. She's later seen at Flo's shop when McQueen is talking to Rusty and Dusty about the future of his career and tells McQueen to kick those rookies in the trunk after he announces that he'll continue racing. She can be heard wishing McQueen luck in college as he prepares to go to the Rust-eze Racing Center. She does not make an appearance until the end of the film during the Florida 500, where she, Sheriff and Red watch the race. After Cruz performs the same flip move Doc did back in the 50s she's shown celebrating saying "WOOHOO!" She makes another appearance during McQueen and Cruz's celebratory practice race at the end of the film.

Profiles and statistics
Cars
- Bios
- "When Lizzie first rolled into Radiator Springs in 1927, it was love at first sight -- love for the town and love for Stanley, the town founder. But she kept Stanley on the soft shoulder for months. Until one day, she realized that Stanley's vision for a new oasis in the desert had enraptured her, too. From that day on, the two became the inseparable heart and soul of the town."
Cars 2
- Bios
- "Lizzie is a Radiator Springs original. She's a little old lady, but still an active businesswoman who uses her moxie to sell bumper stickers, mud flaps, and other Route 66 memorabilia from her curio shop. She's as feisty as she is brash. Lizzie's unswerving frankness and offbeat comments keep the townsfolk and tourists on their toes, even though she has no idea what she's just said."
