Thank You, I'll Pass
Gil has a speaking role in the comic Thank You, I'll Pass. Mack and Lightning McQueen offer to transport Chick Hicks when Chick Hicks' Hauler breaks down on the side of the road, but Chick rudely declines. Gil then offers to transport Hicks, and Chick spitefully agrees, not realizing that he will be riding alongside loads of toxic waste.
