Melody is a character in Phoenotopia: Awakening, first seen in the Ouroboros Hideout. With the uncertainty of the future of Ouroboros since Birdy's reign, she wants to take the chance to depart and pursue the world of dance instead.
Side Quest
When first met in the secluded shrine of Ouroboros Hideout next to a campfire, in the room past the storage and prison, Melody mentions wanting to pursue a career of dancing. Moving out alone won't get her far, but it becomes possible with a generous donation of 100 RIN, which Melody would thank wholeheartedly for with an Ouro Guard Key that she would no longer need.
Later after reuniting with Forte of the Troubadours in Daea City, Gail learns of the other member Alto having gone to the Cupid's Fountain after Cobette has run off. Donating another 50 RIN to the fountain reveals that Melody has been living off pillaging the Cupid's donations there since she is unable to perform alone due to stage fright. As such, Gail suggests Melody to join the Troubadours, which the other members happily accept. As thanks for Gail's constant patron throughout their journey, the Troubadours give her a Heart Ruby, as well as a part of their revenue once every 30 minutes.
Trivia
- Melody can be found in Atai Town between encountering her in Ouroboros Hideout and Cupid's Fountain, where she implies her lack of courage to perform. Talking to her there slightly changes her reaction when later met Cupid's Fountain, and does not affect the side quest in any way
