Astrid is a character introduced in Phoenotopia Awakening. She is an Antique Collector who collects ancient artifacts known as Lunar Artifacts and is quite knowledgeable about the history and culture of their creators. In the game, Gale is able to collect Lunar Artifacts all over Castella and bring them to Astrid, after which she'll give her thoughts on them and reveal some info about their origins. Astrid will give Gale 40 Rin for each Lunar Artifact submitted to her (or 25 if Gale submits a duplicate of a Lunar Artifact that was already submitted).
Rewards
In addition to Rin, Astrid will give Gale other rewards after she submits a certain number of Lunar Artifacts:
- 4 Lunar Artifacts: Energy Gem
- 8 Lunar Artifacts: Antique Cast Iron
- 12 Lunar Artifacts: Heart Ruby
Trivia
Astrid claims that her hair scores a 7 on a hardness scale. Assuming she means the Mohs scale of mineral hardness, since hair is made of keratin, all human hair is a 2.5. This means that Astrid is either lying, or her hair is made of a different material that is harder than both bone and steel.
