Zeus is the Olympian god of the sky and the thunder, the king of all other gods and men, and, consequently, the chief figure in Greek mythology.

He is summoned by Rosalina after Mario says he can do magic. He kidnaps Princess Peach after Mario shows her to him.

Mario finally catches up to them, Zeus then sees Mario and they start to fight. Zeus uses his lighting power to knock Mario back into a button to summon the nearest god. His son, Kratos appears and they get into a fight. While Zeus and Kratos were fighting, Mario pushes the Self-Destuct sequence, exploding the island. For saving her, Peach decides to bake Mario a cake, which Zeus replies with "I thought what we had was special".
