The fish is an aquatic, anamniotic, gill-bearing vertebrate animal with swimming fins and a hard skull, but lacking limbs with digits. Fish can be grouped into the more basal jawless fish and the more common jawed fish, the latter including all living cartilaginous and bony fish, as well as the extinct placoderms and acanthodians. Most fish are cold-blooded, their body temperature varying with the surrounding water, though some large active swimmers like white shark and tuna can hold a higher core temperature. Many fish can communicate acoustically with each other, such as during courtship displays.
Appearance
In Dot, there is a cod that appears inside of I's tank in place of her dot when the word 'cod' is spelled. It's hard to see, but the cod is blue with orange eyes and bright blue stripes. It is also a 3D model.
In Hey, the cod is a 2D model and is completely blue.
In Card, there appears a carp which is yellow in colour, and also a 3D model.
In Plusman, the fish is a 2D model, and it is orange and red in colour.
In Five, Five loves to eat them, as she is seen with a plate of “fish fingers” (commonly known as "fish sticks"). As she rarely eats vegetables, she is possibly a carnivore.
