Just like the Numberblocks and the Colourblocks, they can hide their faces.
Line Merging
Once a line combine to a specific number of lines, they can have an actual shape and a face.
Invisible Hands
Square demonstrates that flatlanders can hold things without the use of arms or hands.
Transforming
Once multiple flatlanders transform into a specific object, they can be that object.

- The Flatlanders are based on Geometry, a branch of mathematics.
- Each of the Flatlanders are based on the Numberblock who is their number of sides (excluding Circle, who has 0 sides and instead is based on One, for 1 edge. This was probably done to keep her from being semi-invisible like Zero.)
