Magmus

A Magmus is an enemy in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Magmuses are a variant of Buzzy Beetles with a rock as its shell, and are mainly encountered in Barrel Volcano. Magmuses are a stronger variant of Magmites.

Battle

Like with Magmites in battle, Magmuses mainly attack with charges. However, they can also use Valor Up to increase their high defense even more.

Strategy

Magmuses are weak against ice attacks, so Mallow's Snowy is very effective against them. This could prove useful against fighting a group of Magmuses.
