Bahamutt

Bahamutt is an enemy in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. They are very large, red dragon enemies that are only encountered in Bowser's Keep. They are only summoned by Magikoopa or a Chester and can be dangerous in battle. Defeating Bahamutt results in it dropping 200 coins.

Battle

In battle, Bahamutts can attack physically by biting but they can also use special moves such as Drain to inflict damage. Their signature move, Iron Maiden, may cause the Fear ailment.

Strategy

Bahamutts are weak against Ice, so it is heavily advised that Mallow use his Snowy technique against it.

• An unused sprite of a Bahamutt greatly resembles Boshi, so it is possible they were originally based on Yoshis.
