Luda (Korean: 루다; Chinese: 露多) is a South Korean singer and actress under iHQ. She is a member of the girl group WJSN, its sub-unit WJSN CHOCOME, and a former member of project girl group WJMK and virtual girl group Feverse.
Career
2015–2016: Debut with WJSN
She was revealed as a member of WJSN on December 31, 2015 as part of the group's Natural Unit.[2] The group officially debuted on February 25, 2016 with their first mini album Would You Like?.
2018: Debut with WJMK
On June 1, 2018, she debuted as a member of the special project group WJMK with the single "Strong".
2020: Debut with WJSN CHOCOME
On September 25, 2020, she was revealed as a member of WJSN's first sub-unit, WJSN CHOCOME. The unit will officially debut on October 7, 2020 with the single album "Hmph!".
2022: Acting debut
On September 19, 2022, Starship Entertainment announced that Luda will make her acting debut in the web drama My X Twenty, set to premier in December.[3]
2023: Departure from Starship Entertainment and new agency
On March 3, 2023, it was announced that eight members of WJSN have renewed their exclusive contracts with Starship Entertainment. However, she, along with Dawon, would be leaving the agency after deciding not to renew their contracts,[4] although they will continue to participate in the group's future plans.[5]
On April 19, it was reported that Luda had signed an exclusive contract with iHQ to resume her activities as an actress.[6]
