Yeonjung (Korean: 연정; Chinese: 璉靜) is a South Korean singer under Starship Entertainment. She is the maknae of the girl group WJSN and a former member of the project girl group I.O.I.
Career
2016: Produce 101, debuts with I.O.I and WJSN
From January to April of 2016, she participated in Mnet's survival television show, Produce 101 as a trainee representing Starship Entertainment. She finished the survival in 11th place, thus becoming a member of the girl group I.O.I.[1] The group debuted on May 4 with Chrysalis.
On July 11, it was announced she would joining WJSN as the thirteenth member.[2] She made her debut as a member of the group on August 17 with their second mini album The Secret.
2017: I.O.I's disbandment
I.O.I officially disbanded on January 29, 2017 following a farewell concert and the release of their third and final digital single "Downpour".
2019: V-1
On September 13, she became a contestant on the vocal reality survival show V-1. On September 15, she won the final round, becoming the winner of the show.[3]

On February 9, 2018, she graduated from Hanlim Multi Art School, where she was a student of the Practical Music Department.[4]
