Luda

Lee Lu-da (Hangul: 이루다), better known as Luda (루다), was born on February 6, 1997 (age 28) in Seoul, South Korea. She is a sub-vocalist of the South Korean girl group WJSN and is a member of its Natural Unit.[1] Luda is also a member of the sub-unit WJSN CHOCOME.

History

Pre-debut

Luda was originally a trainee under SM Entertainment and was supposed to debut as a member of GFriend before going to Starship Entertainment.

2016: Debut with WJSN

She was confirmed to be a member of WJSN and its Natural Unit on December 31, 2015 and proceeded to debut with the group as the sub-vocalist on February 25, 2016 with their mini-album Would You Like? and the single "MoMoMo".[4][6]

2018: Debut with WJMK

On May 1, 2018, it was announced Luda would be part of a special unit, WJMK, with fellow member SeolA along with Weki Meki members Yoojung and Doyeon. They released their digital single "Strong" on June 1, with its music video.

2020: Debut with WJSN CHOCOME

Luda was revealed to be part of WJSN's first sub-unit WJSN CHOCOME on September 25, 2020. They debut on October 7, 2020 with the single album "Hmph!".

2023: Departure from Starship Entertainment

On March 3, 2023, it was announced that eight members of WJSN have renewed their contracts with Starship Entertainment. However, Luda, alongside Dawon, would have their contracts ultimately terminated following its expiration.[7]
