On September 22, a teaser image was released for WJSN CHOCOME's first single album titled "Hmph!", to be released on October 7.[1] On the 23rd, Starship confirmed that WJSN would be debuting their first sub-unit.[2] The unit's debut schedule was released later that day while the single's track list was released on the 24th. The first concept photos were released on the 25th and revealed the unit's members: Soobin, Luda, Yeoreum, and Dayoung.[3]
2022: First comeback
On October 7, 2021, it was reported that WJSN CHOCOME would be making a comeback before the end of the year.[4] On December 19, a teaser was released for WJSN CHOCOME's second single album titled "Super Yuppers!", to be released on January 5, 2022.[5]
