Minnie ((G)I-DLE)

Minnie (Korean: 민니; Japanese:ミンニ; Thai: มินนี่) is a Thai singer-songwriter, producer and actress under Cube Entertainment. She is a member of the girl group (G)I-DLE.

She made her solo debut on January 21, 2025 with her first mini album Her.

Career

2016: Cube Tree

Minnie was first revealed to the public on March 22, 2016, where she was introduced as a member of the trainee group Cube Tree.^[1]

2018: Debut with (G)I-DLE

On April 18, 2018, Minnie was revealed as the sixth and final member of (G)I-DLE.^[2] The group officially debuted on May 2 with their first mini album I Am.

2021: King of Mask Singer, So Not Worth It

On February 28, Minnie appeared on King of Mask Singer. As the masked singer 'Cockle Shell', she sang "D (Half Moon)" by DEAN, and she impressed the panelists with her emotional and dreamlike voice. On the show, she also declared that she wanted "to break down the prejudice that [non-Korean vocalists] don’t have good pronunciation or that [they] don’t understand the lyrics."^[3]

She made her acting debut as one of the lead actors in the Netflix series So Not Worth It, which started airing on June 18.^[4][5]

2023: "Expectations", "Pink Your Moment"

On March 9, 2023, a collaboration single with British singer Anne-Marie was released, titled "Expectations".^[6][7]

On April 26, 2023, she released the promotional single "Pink Your Moment".^[8]

2025: Solo debut with Her

On December 3, 2024, Cube Entertainment confirmed that Minnie is currently preparing her solo debut, scheduled for mid-January 2025.^[9]

On January 6, a teaser image was unveiled, announcing a release for the next day.^[10] In a following post, they revealed the title as "Blind Eyes Red".^[11] Its music video was released on January 7.^[12]

On January 7, it was announced that Minnie will be releasing her debut mini album on January 21,^[13] later revealed to be titled as Her.^[14]
