"How Sweet" is the second single album by NewJeans. It was released on May 24, 2024 with "How Sweet" serving as the single's title track.
"Bubble Gum" was pre-released on April 27, 2024.
The physical album comes in nine versions: NewJeans, five individual member versions, and three Weverse Albums (A, B, C).
Background
On March 26, 2024, NewJeans announced that they will pre-release "Bubble Gum" as a commercial song in April before releasing "How Sweet" on May 24.[1]
Promotions
On May 8, 2024, ADOR announced that member Hyein will be unable to join the promotions for "How Sweet" due to a microfracture she sustained during practice.[2]

Critical reception
"How Sweet" was ranked #16 on the Billboard's top 25 best K-Pop songs of 2024 list[3] while its title track was ranked #14 on the NME's 25 best K-pop songs of 2024.[4]
Commercial performance
According to Circle Chart, as of the end of May, "How Sweet" sold 1,085,355 copies.[5]
On January 4, 2025, the Recording Industry Association of Japan awarded "How Sweet" a gold certification.[6]
