Ghost Book is an enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby: Triple Deluxe. It yields no Copy Ability when inhaled.
Physical Appearance
Ghost Book is, as its name suggests, a possessed book. It has a brown cover and faded pages covered in nondescript text. Its spine faces upward at all times. One page in the center of the novel dangles in place as the others help the enemy fly.
Games
Kirby: Triple Deluxe
Ghost Book appears exclusively in Stage 3 of Wild World and Stage 3 of Royal Road. The enemy stays in mid-air perpetually, flapping its two covers like wings to remain airborne. This constant motion causes it to lose a loose page every few seconds. When Kirby approaches, Ghost Book homes in and attempts to crash into him, with decent accuracy. If Kirby dodges it, the enemy gives chase ceaselessly.
Ghost Book can fly at one predetermined speed, which can be fast or slow. The enemy often appears in pairs or trios. It is somewhat durable; while Kirby can defeat it using his Slide, Air Gun, or Quick Fall techniques, he must use multiple to defeat the opponent.
Before reaching the enemy, Kirby finds a Miracle Fruit and obtains the Hypernova ability. This allows him to effortlessly consume several Ghost Books at a time, their pages tearing out in the process. Defeating them this way prevents them from respawning should the hero leave the area and return.
