Mallick Scott is one of the protagonists of Saw V, a drug addict and a Jigsaw Survivor. He was portrayed by Greg Bryk.
Biography
Origins
Mallick was a young drug addict who mainly financed his addiction with his wealthy father's money. One day, a drug dealer offered him an ounce of heroin to burn down an abandoned apartment building. Mallick agreed and set the building on fire, not knowing that it have living peoples inside it. When the fire swarm out of his control, he panicked and then learned about the dead of eight families, which result in him succumbing to regrets and despression until his abduction.
The Trial
Some time later, Mallick was abducted by Detective Mark Hoffman, the second Jigsaw Killer who had gained knowledge of his involvement in the arson case before his death and instructed Hoffman to arrange a deadly game for him and the other people involved in the case. After subduing him, Hoffman took him to a room in a catacomb area at 1293 Sandburst Drive along with the other test subjects and put a leather collar around his neck before leaving. He and some other was forced to play a game to escape, which result in severals actions, but regards of it, Mallick saved another victim, named Brit and survived the game.
S.U.R.V.I.V.E Group
Two years later, he was motivated by a a novel written by Bobby Dagen, which leads him to joining the Survival Group interview, and become one of the participants.
Personality
Mallick in the beginning seems to be a troubles some person, whom was addicted and have a problems with drugs, he is also very arrogant and quick to came into angry conclusion as a result of his scarred life, but despite that, he is seen to be able to understand and shown regrets after knowing that he have killed 8 family in the building. He is also seen to be willing to cut off his arm to save the other prisoner life, Brit even if it causes a huge amount of pain into him.
