Clarine

Clarine is a supporting character of Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. A noble from Etruria, she is the daughter of Lord Pent and Lady Louise and the sister of Klein. She joins Roy's party shortly after being captured by Erick, acting as a healer for Roy and his companions.

In Fire Emblem Heroes she is voiced by Runa Onodera in Japanese and by Hunter Mackenzie Austin in English.

Appearance

Clarine is a beautiful young girl with light skin and blonde hair. She wears the traditional clothes of a noble and she wields a staff as a healer unit. She resembles both of her parents.

Personality

Clarine is a very formal noble who holds herself in high regard. She can come off as arrogant and bossy but she cares deeply about others such as her brother Klein, whom she idolizes as the definition of a perfect noble. She opens up about some of her insecurities to her fellow party members if given enough Supports, and she also displays more sympathetic qualities when bonding with Rutger and Dorothy.

History

Clarine was born a noble as the daughter of Lord Pent and Lady Louise. She grew up idolizing her brother Klein for his admirable qualities, being very affectionate to him.

During the events of the war with Bern, Clarine is dragged into the conflict after Erick, the Marquess of Laus, traps her and holds her hostage under the pretense of being a sympathetic noble. While the Lycia alliance heads over there to take down Erick, Clarine is set free by Rutger, a sword for hire who had been employed by Erick and took pity on her despite his stoic nature. She then runs into Roy, joining his army as a healer and repaying Rutger's mercy by recruiting him into the party when they meet again in the battlefield.

In a later chapter Clarine is reunited with Klein, who is part of the enemy troops during the raid on a town. Clarine is able to persuade him and gets him to join the Lycia alliance, becoming a valuable archer unit.
