Artur

Artur is a playable character and minor protagonist of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. He is a pious and polite monk and childhood friend of Lute.

In Fire Emblem Heroes, he is voiced in English by Adin Ruud and in Japanese by Keisuke Kômoto.

Appearance

Artur is a young man with fluffy, orange hair and orange eyes. He wears brown boots and a light blue cape that drapes over his shoulders as well as hoodless, white, traditional medieval monk garments with golden accents.

Personality

Artur is a pious and polite young man. He is shown to be easily scared and has stated himself to have a "mild fear of spiders" in his C-Support with Lute. He is also shown to be willing to help others in his supports with Neimi as well as being easily persuaded and bashful in his supports with Joshua and Tethys respectively.

Biography

Artur is a monk originating from the Za'ha woods region of Renais. He is the childhood friend of self-proclaimed prodigy Lute. He grew up with his mother, who referred to him as "child". Nothing is known about his father. He states he became a monk because of one he met when he was a child, he had lost a toy that had value to him and a monk of a nearby monastery spent the rest of his day trying to cheer him up and find out why he was sad, Artur greatly admired this attitude and decided to become a monk to honour his deed.

During the War of the Stones, the Za'ha woods were overrun with monsters from legends of long ago, as he attempted to deal with them, he ran into Eirika and her then small army and joins them, alongside Lute to fight against Grado and vanquish Magvel of monsters.

After the war, he moved to Renais to help rebuild the shattered nation and ease the suffering of those affected by the war. This self-sacrifice made him a folk hero among the peasantry. If he has an A-Support with Lute, the two end up married and having a child after their return, with Artur performing most of the housework.

Fire Emblem Heroes

Artur is a playable character in the mobile game Fire Emblem Heroes, he has one variation added in the "Winter Dreamland" banner added on December 16, 2021 where he dons winter-themed garments and takes the role of an envoy for the winter season.

Trivia

Artur is the first unit that uses magic offensively recruited in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones.
