Background Information

Murphy is one of the E.F.G.F. mobile suit pilots stationed in a military base near the Olt in Central Romania during the One Year War. Along with his teammates Carl and Shaun, he pilots the mass-produced RGM-79 GM.

Personality & Character

Murphy is mindful of manners, as he reminds Carl not to use foul language in the presence of Gundam Pilot who is much younger than they are. He enjoys watching his teammates Carl and Shaun playing chess when not in duties.^[1]

History

Murphy, along with Carl, Shaun and the Gundam Pilot, form the mobile suit piloting force for suppressing Zeon's strongholds at the Olt region in central Romania. During Zeon's GM-jack operation led by Iria Solari in November U.C. 0079, Murphy and his GM teammates were alerted by intruders who tried to steal E.F.F.'s mobile suits. The foursome quickly mobilizes but bumps into the E.F.F.-disguised Iria Solari and Hailey Arhun. The GM trio finally arrived to the scene but to no avail as their GM mobile suits were either hijacked or destroyed.
