Secret (秘密, Himitsu) is the tenth episode of GARO: Makai Flash Knight.
Synopsis
Leo takes Kaoru on a journey to find the Spirit Beast, a mystical entity that will tell him the secrets of his Makai powers.
Summary
Kouga and Zaruba wait for a horror, with the help of Leo's latest creation.
Kaoru asks Leo about a ceremonial sword that he has. Gonza tries to help to explain, but is stopped by Leo. Kaoru asks Leo if she can join him to see the Spirit Beast. Leo initially refuses, but allows Kaoru to join him as he thinks she will follow him.
Leo explains to Kaoru that the path to see the Spirit Beast involves them travelling on a path that follows the spiritual energy of the city. He gives her an elixir to heighten her senses for a day. The pair avoid a bridge due to malevolent energy.
Leo explains that he is going to see the Spirit Beast in order to increase the power of his Madō Brush. Kaoru asks if it will power up her brush, which Leo says will not be the case, although it could help with her art. Leo also tells Kaoru about a tradition of giving an image of the Spirit Beast to someone important. Leo and Kaoru discuss her relationship with Kouga as they continue on their wondrous journey. The pair stop as a spirit parade is occurring and it is revealed that Leos brush did not originally belong to him.
As they reach the end of the journey, Leo syncs their timing with the timing of the spirit beast. The Spirit Beast approaches Leo and Kaoru as the pair hold their brushes up to the beast. Mio is seen for a moment when Leos brush makes contact with the Spirit beast. Kouga shows up when her brush touches the beast.
After their encounter with the Spirit Beast, Leo does battle with an Orig, defeating him like a Makai Knight. Leo asks Kaoru not to tell Kouga about the fight. He also told her that she can't talk about what she saw when she encountered the spirit beast.
Zuformer arrives and is quickly dispatched by Kouga. As Kouga returns home, greeted by Kaoru, he sees Kaorus drawing of the Spirit Beast and smiles.
