My Home, also known as Ninten's House or the name the player gave to the character (as seen on the sign outside), is where Ninten lives and begins his adventure in EarthBound Beginnings, located north of Podunk. This is also the location of the first bosses, the Lamp and Doll, and it is under siege by a poltergeist in the very beginning of the game. Carol (Ninten's Mother), Ninten's Father, his sisters Mimmie and Minnie, and their dog Mick also live here. The first telephone in the game where you can save can be found in the living room.
The player should first enter the basement to obtain the Plastic Bat, Bread, and GGF's Diary. The player can also fight Rats in the basement and garner XP (3 for each battle). The rats do minimal damage and Ninten can go back and heal at any time, making this a practical strategy for leveling up early.
Upon leaving, Ninten is introduced to the world outside. From there, he walks along a dirt path through a bridge and Pippi's house to enter Podunk.
Enemies are first encountered a little after leaving the front yard. Given Ninten’s extremely low level, grinding XP and then coming back to have Carol heal is viable. Upon reaching level 3, Ninten learns PSI LifeUp α, which is more than enough to leave to town. Enemies will stop coming upon reaching Podunk (A little before its greeting sign).
Story
Ninten's house is the starting location in the beginning of the game. Ninten finds his house under siege by an evil poltergeist that wreaks havoc inside the small home. The poltergeist takes control over 2 lamps and a doll, and attacks Ninten and his family. Upon defeating the doll, the poltergeist leaves and the house returns to normal. Inside the Doll is a music box that contains the very first tune of the Eight Melodies. He leaves his house and journeys around the world, defeating enemies and eventually defeating Giegue. He returns home and goes back to bed, where he lives the rest of his life as a hero.

Trivia
- In front of Ninten's House reads a sign that says "Ninten's house".
- Mick is the only dog NPC in the entire game.
- The City Zoo is located directly north of Ninten's House.
- Paying for the $5 Plane Ride in Yucca Desert will show glimpses of Ninten's House and Podunk.
- Using PSI Teleport, it shows the location as "MyHome" rather than Ninten's House, likely due to the long text that can cause certain problems if it showed the name chosen by the player instead.
- Ninten appears to be neighbors with Pippi's family based on their proximity, but this is not entirely confirmed.
- Ninten's House is the only house in the game surrounded by a wooden fence.
- The house itself is simply a white recolor of all of the other wooden houses in Podunk, although it has a chimney instead of a windmill (Pippi's house has the windmill instead). Despite it looking architecturally the same, it has a much bigger interior than the first round door house (With the talking mouse) in the town.
- Interestingly, the cabin in the base of Mt. Itoi has the exact same design as Ninten's House. However, this may simply be the developers saving time on resources due to the rushed development near the end of the game.
- Like Ness and Lucas, Ninten appears to live in the outskirts of town. This is yet another recurring theme throughout the mother trilogy.
- The sign that says "Welcome to Podunk" oddly seems to be facing in the direction of Ninten's House. From the player's point of view, however, it is them entering Podunk from Ninten's direction.
- Using hacks, Ninten's House is shown to be surrounded by a thick forest with rivers outlining the perimeter of it. However, this is simply the default terrain for anything out-of-bounds.
- If the player has never saved in any of the telephones, the game will spawn Ninten back in the chair by default. His friends will be to the right of his chair.
- A reference to Ninten's House can be found in Yume Nikki in the FC World.
