Kpp'Ar is a dark mage and was Viren's former mentor, who has both an aptitude and passion for integrating puzzles into human architecture.[1][4] He is currently trapped inside a magical coin since the reign of King Atticus.[5]
Appearance
Kpp'Ar is an older man with light tan skin and dark brown eyes. The strands of his black and white hair are messily sticking out toward the top and sides of his head, and are reaching to his neck at the bottom. He has a crooked nose, slight wrinkles on his face, as well as bushy, black eyebrows.
Kpp'Ar is dressed in a blue and brown vest, which features black spikes on each shoulder, and reaches past his knees. The vest is is worn over a long, black shirt. Both of these pieces are decorated with golden detailing. Additionally, he wears high brown boots, while his right hand is covered by a black sleeve, and his left arm is covered by a bloodied bandage that resulted from the outcome of the ancient and disturbing practice[6] of self-eating in an attempt to extend his life indefinitely.[7] To support himself while walking, he carries a brown cane that is adorned with elaborate and colorful decorations.[6]
Personality
Kpp'Ar loves to integrate secrets and puzzles into architecture, for he perceives them as "man-made magic".[1] He would also gladly answer every question concerning magic. According to Viren, Kpp'Ar started to grow weary of actual magic before his mysterious disappearance. Kruha has stated that Kpp'Ar gained a change of heart.[2] Although Kpp'Ar sympathizes with the plight of others, he refused to use dark magic due to the harm it poses.[5][7]
Kpp'Ar started to develop an obsession with unicorns before he was trapped inside one of Viren's coins, which was proven by the numerous unicorn imageries and decorations inside his Puzzle House.[2]
