Fen

Fen is a lieutenant of the Standing Battalion serving under Amaya and Gren.

Appearance

Fen is a middle-aged man with light skin and soft wrinkles. The top of his hair is brushed back and kept relatively short elsewhere. It is dark gray with lighter tips on more extended parts. He has a thick, full beard that matches his hair color, brown eyes, and prominent eyebrows. The Standing Battalion provided his attire, which is blue.

Personality

Fen appears to have a relatively calm and loyal nature, as shown when he calms Amaya down following her recent encounter with Janai and the Sunfire Elves.^[1] He is also shown to be protective of Gren, as he tried to stop the latter from rescuing Amaya knowing that the Breach was about to be destroyed.^[2]

Combatant

Fen is a capable combatant who managed to survive Janai's ambush.^[1]

Trivia

• Fen's name origin is a popular community joke. Starting off as "Fake Gren" in the notes of the writing team, due to being the person who interacted with Amaya while Gren resided inside a dungeon, his name eventually turned into "Fen" and remained that way until made official.^[3]
