"Iced" is the first segment of the eighty-fifth episode of Big City Greens.
Synopsis
Gramma butts heads with Nick when he crashes her special family hockey outing.
Plot
Cricket, Tilly, Nancy, and Nick return to the city where they are greeted by an excited Alice who reveals that due to the cafe doing well, she gave herself and Gloria an extra bonus which they have both decided to spend on personal trips. In Alice's case, it is taking the whole family to the hockey game, and for Gloria it is to go to Paris, though she ends up in Paris, Texas by mistake. Nick is bummed to find out that Nancy did not get a ticket for him as she does not consider him an immediate member of their family, mainly due to his past behavior and attitude towards her, and the Greens leave to the game without him.
At the hockey game, Cricket immediately becomes entranced with the Zamboni, or as he calls it an ice tractor, and Nancy decides to take him backstage to see it. The owner, Tony, refuses to let him see "Zelda", and they trick him into leaving so that they can ride it. Bill decides that he wants to get a corndog and calls to the vendor, but he seems to be openly ignoring Bill, much to his confusion. Tilly does not like that the hockey players are fighting and decides to go down and teach them all kindness instead, though this ends up backfiring. Alice is disappointed that everyone is distracted, until she learns that Nick snuck into the hockey game and begins to pester her.
Alice and Nick's quarrel spills out onto the ice just as Cricket and Nancy come riding in on the Zamboni. Bill chases down the corndog vendor who reveals that he makes it his goal to ignore one random person just for fun and they run out onto the ice. As Alice and Nick continue fighting, one of the hockey players tries to calm them, but makes it worse, making Tilly snap. The referee comes out and kicks the Greens and Nick out of the stadium. Alice apologizes for how she treated Nick and admits that she admires his roughhousing. Nick in turn, also compliments Alice. Another corndog vendor waits outside and Alice decides to treat everyone, much to Bill's delight.
