"Good Grief" is the second segment of the ninety-fifth episode of Big City Greens.
Synopsis
Bill goes to extremes to prevent Tilly from experiencing grief after her new pet fish croaks.
Plot
Bill takes Tilly to the pet store to look at the pets, but Tilly asks if this time she can take a pet home. Bill is reluctant as they already have numerous other animals, but then remembers that he had a personal pet as a child named Todd who was a worm. He agrees and Tilly picks a very sickly looking fish named Cougho. They take the fish home where he dies the next day. Not wanting to see Tilly sad, Bill vows to hide this from Tilly. Meanwhile, Cricket and Remy are watching Wacky Wednesday and are inspired to "switch bodies", undergoing a fictitious body swap so that they can act like each other.
Cricket and Remy attempt to trick Gloria who doesn't buy it because all they did was switch clothes. They decide to actually pretend to be each other, but they end up annoying their friends as well as each other when they insult their quirks. Officer Keys overhears them and buys their body swap, but arrests them as he considers it a theft offense. Bill flushes Cougho down the toilet just as Tilly walks by and sees it. He panics and explains that it was an accident and that he is most likely partying in the sewers. Tilly thinks that this means that they can go and get him and go down, only to open a large drain that washes them out of the sewers.
Cricket and Remy begin to bawl and admit that they shouldn't insult each other's habits and decide to stop pretending. Officer Keys decides to let them go and Cricket and Remy "revert" back to their old selves. Bill manages to convince Tilly that Cougho is gone and that she should take solace that there is ambiguity over his disappearance, only to realize that this is wrong. He admits that Cougho died and that he didn't want her to experience grief. Tilly tells Bill that she will experience grief no matter what as that is a part of life. They both bond over Cougho and Todd's similar fates, apparently unaware of the typical worm and fish relation.
