Round 87 is a round in Bloons TD 6. It is characterized by four ZOMGs spawning one by one.

Description

Simply speaking, four ZOMGs spawn, one coming after another within a small time gap. It takes a total of 10 seconds for all the ZOMGs to come out.

Strategy

Summary

Round 87 is a more difficult version of Round 85. There are four ZOMGs in Round 85 instead of two. Even more countermeasures need to be made to counter the ZOMGs on this round, due to their even higher health on this round. Precisely, they have +14% health and speed ramping instead of +10%, so these ZOMGs and their children will be much stronger. Barely surviving Round 85 is nothing to scoff at; the four ZOMGs also move slightly faster too.

Tips

  • Bloon Master Alchemist trivializes this round, but it will lose money.
  • 4-2-0 Maim MOAB is an important support for this round. Set it on Strong to greatly reduce progress of the ZOMGs.
  • One 4-0-2 Maim MOAB on Last can stall one ZOMG in place for the other three ZOMGs to get handled by the other defenses. Placing on Strong makes it struggle to catch all four ZOMGs properly, but it's better than nothing.
  • Relying on First Strike to handle the ZOMGs on this round is not recommended, as the ability has a long cooldown, and one First Strike Sub will likely fail to get more than half the round finished off if not for stuns and slowdowns
  • Prince of Darkness struggles tremendously with this round, since its zombie bloons are ineffective against ZOMGs. Its graveyard turning empty during round 87 is a common sight. A ZOMG's blimp layers should popped as quickly as possible to allow the Prince of Darkness to replenish itself on its descendants.
