Round 77 is a round introduced in Bloons TD 5 and reappears in Bloons TD 6. It consists of a sparse stream of lone MOABs joined by a tight pack of five BFBs midway through the round. In Bloons TD 6, it is the fourth-to-last round on Hard Difficulty.

Description

Round 77 starts off by spawning MOABs that have large amounts of space between each other. Eleven such spaced MOABs will continuously arrive throughout the round. After the fifth MOAB spawns, a pack of five BFBs will arrive as reinforcements. The spaced MOABs will continue to come while and after the player fights off the BFBs until all eleven have spawned.

Overview

Round 77 may pose a challenge due to not only the density of the BFB rush but also to how the round tries to divide or distract defenses with the lone MOABs. Additionally, Round 78, which starts with a dense ceramic rush, comes right after 77, meaning that it is often impossible to use abilities for both the BFBs and 78. An effective defense against 77 requires the accomplishment of three tasks; handling the lone MOABs, damaging the BFBs, and crowd-controlling the BFBs' many descendants.

Round 77 is especially difficult on Half Cash, as that mode's halved income gives nary a resource to fight against multiple BFBs at the same time.

Tips

  • Maim MOAB crosspathed with Shrapnel Shot is very helpful in stunning the BFBs and crowd-controlling their children by stunning multiple of them at once.
  • Downdraft may be used to spread out ceramic descendants of blimps to avoid the rest of the defense being overwhelmed.
  • Ground Zero will instantly defeat the BFBs' MOAB children.
