History
Ben 10
In Permanent Retirement, Ben, Gwen and Max went to visit her to the retirement village she lives in. She was first seen talking to Marty about their arrival. Later, the trio had dinner with Vera, consisting of an odd orange pork-flavored gelatin mold, and coffee beans as candy. Disgusted by this, Ben ran to the bathroom to hide. He got the idea to use his alien Ghostfreak to phase through and sneak out of the house, which hurt Vera when she found out about it. During the night, a Limax attacked Vera in her sleep. The next morning, Vera seemingly came into the kitchen. Her mannerisms were stranger: she spoke monotonously; pinched the kids' cheeks harder than usual; and completely freaked out when Gwen spilled a glass of water. She then left the house to go find Max. The real Vera was later found in a pod, having been put inside it by a Limax and replaced. She, along with the other senior citizens, were saved and returned home by Team Tennyson. The next day, the Tennysons said their goodbyes to Vera. She gave Max a hug and Gwen an equally odd gelatin mold to take on the road, which was Ben's idea. Vera told Ben she hoped the visit hadn't "bored him to tears", but Ben admitted that he had lots of fun.
Omniverse
In Clyde 5, Vera visited Plumber Headquarters in the hopes that Ben and Max could convince her grandson Clyde to join the Plumbers' Academy. Vera was seen suggesting putting plants around the base and Max agreed on one plant. Later, Jerry complained to Patelliday about Vera redecorating everything. Patelliday said it was only for a couple of days and things would return to normal after she left. Jerry was still upset, saying he was the one taking in complaints and that the only ones who weren't complaining were Blukic and Driba. Even later, the Plumbers were seen sweating due to the heat and Patelliday started to dehydrate. Vera then turned up the heat again, still thinking it was too cold.
During the battle with Clyde, Rook called Plumber HQ but was answered by Vera. Rook asked for the Plumber on duty, Elliot, but Vera had made him eat something, assuring Rook that Clyde wasn't causing much trouble. Max appeared, asking Vera why she was answering the calls and wondered why it was too hot. Knowing the conditions, Max rushed over to Patelliday and told some Plumbers to take him to the infirmary. Max then heard the call from Rook and was upset at Vera for messing with the operation. Max ordered for Vera to be taken away.
After the situation with Clyde had been dealt with, Max apologized for his actions toward Vera, but she understood that she shouldn't treat him like a child anymore. Max was glad to have an older sister that shared his childhood memories and he and Vera shared a hug.
