Emily has been Gwen's best friend since kindergarten.
Appearance
Emily is blonde with fair skin and pale blue eyes. She wears a white shirt, a red scarf, a black skirt, and black stockings. She is a paraplegic, and, as a result of her condition, is wheelchair-bound.
Personality
Emily and Gwen have been best friends since they were very young. Though she understands that Gwen's heroics are important, she is disappointed that she and Gwen don't get to spend as much time together as they used to.
Emily often shares food with Gwen, especially since Gwen sometimes forgets to eat. This includes giving her a bagel for breakfast and a container of yogurt for lunch.
Despite her kind demeanor, she is mad at Ben for leaving her webbed to the top of a 200-foot-high tower as Spidermonkey after a date.
History
Background
She once went on a date with Ben who, as Spidermonkey, left her webbed to the top of a 200-foot-high tower above the ground. According to Ben, it was for her own safety and she couldn't have fallen.
Ultimate Alien
Emily appeared in It's Not Easy Being Gwen, giving Gwen (who had missed breakfast) a bagel, and revealing that she had been accepted into a performing arts school. When Ben came to ask Gwen for help fighting Dr. Animo, Emily was unhappy about it, pointing out that, because of Gwen's heroics and the two of them doing different activities, they don't get to spend as much time together as they used to.
That night, at her piano recital, she was overjoyed to find that Gwen had come to watch.

Gwen Tennyson

Emily has been Gwen's best friend since kindergarten. Emily often brings food to school for Gwen, knowing that she usually skips breakfast. Though she is understanding of Gwen's crimefighting responsibilities, she is also upset that they do not spend as much time as they used to. However, Gwen tries to support Emily to the extent possible, such as when she went to Emily's piano recital at the last minute after helping Ben and Kevin defeat Animo.[1]
