Born in Spain, Wenzl lives in Brooklyn. He is part of a subway band called Moon Hooch and has a viral song called "Traffic Cone Jam".

Audition

Wenzl McGowen's audition in Episode 1707 consisted of playing the saxophone with a traffic cone stuck in it. Simon Cowell buzzed the act. Although Simon voted "No", Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara voted "Yes", sending him to the next round.

Deliberations

Wenzl McGowen was not selected as one of the 55 acts in the Semifinals, eliminating him from the competition.
