- “But you got yourself hurt in the process! Judy, you need to stay home and take care of your arm.”
- ―Violet
Violet is a female rabbit and a character in Brothers & Sisters. She is a member of the Hopps family.
Physical Appearance
Violet is taller than Judy, and her fur is a lighter shade of grey, with an even lighter shade extending from her underbelly to her muzzle. She has a pink nose and ears.
Violet wears a green skirt, a black turtleneck jumper and red-rimmed half-moon glasses.
Role in the Comic
When Judy Hopps' relatives show up at her door, Violet asks if Judy is all right. Another rabbit says that Bonnie and Stu Hopps told them that Judy had hurt her arm. Judy replies that it's a little sore, but nothing to worry about. Violet insists that Judy stay home and take care of her arm, but Judy declines, saying she has to get to work. The other rabbits agree with Violet and try to stop Judy, but she tricks them and dashes away.
Violet instructs everyone to follow Judy on a bus, but there are already too many passengers on it. The bus lurches out of control and thunders down the street. Judy sees the problem and uses an umbrella to float down onto the runaway bus, pulling on the brake lever much like the smoothie cart incident described earlier in the comic.
The bus screeches to a halt at the ZPD. Chief Bogo marches out and yells at Judy for being late, saying that he's fired officers for less. But Violet protests that Bogo can't fire Judy and tells him about how she saved their lives. Then Violet and the others crowd happily around Judy.
