Attach (重 (かさ) ねる kasaneru) is a term that refers to the act of moving a card underneath an Xyz Monster as an Xyz Material.

Though Monster Cards are the cards most often attached to Xyz Monsters, it is possible for Spell/Trap Cards to become attached as well, such as by the effects of "Overlay Regen" and "Xyz Reborn".
