Trivia

  • The title screen of the game Nate plays resembles the video game The Legend of Zelda, while the battle system parodies the Dragon Quest games.
    • Additionally, the device Nate plays on resembles the Nintendo Switch.
  • This is the first time Wicked Yo-kai make an appearance in the anime.
  • The animation of Jibanyan falling down from losing against Lord Enma in the battle is reused from EX001.
  • To promote M05, there was originally a contest held from November 15, 2018 to January 22, 2019 where three children got to see Etsuko Kozakura perform her lines in that episode, and each receive a copy of the script.[1]
    • If one looks closely at the script cover, the segments seemed to have been reordered, with the Yo-kai Martial Arts Association segment happening last, 4-Komasan segment happening third, and the Jibanyan's Performing Arts Office happening second.
  • It is revealed that Robonyan F's One-chanside ends up with both Robonyan F and Nate fusing into Nate F.
  • This is the second time that Hidabat is seen outdoors, first was in EP178.
  • This is the first time the back-up dancers of the Yo-kai Watch Dream are given speaking lines.
