Trivia
- This is the only episode to have Jibanyan saying "Yo-kai Watch" tiredly during the eyecatch break since the first teaser.
- When Hailey puts Furdinand on top of Kyubi's head with the goat horns, his "hairstyle" bears resemblance to Vincent Brooks from the video game Catherine.
- This is the only episode of the segment to have Bear and Eddie get the attention of Nate when they look at the Fancy That! magazine.
- It is revealed that the Flumpy that made its debut in the episode is a girl.
- It is revealed that Yo-kai can also go extinct. A couple of endangered Yo-kai include Flumpy and Scritchy.
- Scritchy being an endangered Yo-kai is a callback to EP084.
- Though, the Flumpy population having no longer being classified as endangered anymore by the end of the segment might have been caused by Nate when he was trying to help hatch Flumpy’s egg.
- The messy hairstyle trend was previously referenced in the magazine in Gnew Guy Gnomey: The Love Episode.
- The swan outfit Nate wears was previously referenced in EP039's Recap Time.
- This is the only episode of the entire series for Kenny and Mark to have speaking roles.
Errors
- When Nate looks at Flumpy after being dressed wrong in school, the egg is smaller compared to other shots.
- In the beginning scenes of Nate being crowded by his classmates, the characters are drawn inconsistently short with smaller-sized feet.
