Mei Li is a character who appears in Season 7.

Appearance

Mei Li has a pale complexion, brown hair styled into two buns, which are held in place by red ribbon hair ties, and brown eyes.

She wears a red, sleeveless Tangzhuang with yellow linings and waist band, blue knee-length leggings also with yellow linings, and red flats. She accessorizes with an orange arm bracelet and wrist bracelet.

Personality

Mei Li shows distrust towards people and will act aggressively if she perceives them to be a threat. She is also loyal, protective, and caring, and dedicated to her cause.

Season 7

713-Wary

In "The Unicorn's Secret," she first appears in a bamboo forest. She defended the pandas, which are on the verge of extinction. At first, she attacks the Winx, thinking that they wanted to harm the pandas. According to her, Mei Li did not trust anyone because of the fact that all people destroy nature. The Winx finally earn her trust and then a flaming unicorn appears, which attacks them.

Ep713-4

Bloom and Mei Li find out where that unicorn comes from and discover that he drank from a lake which is contaminated with Wild Magic. The unicorn appears and attacks Mei Li. Once Elas is healed, Bloom bonds with him, and, with his unicorn powers, he heals Mei Li. Finally, everyone is safe and the pandas she cared for say goodbye to her and Mei Li decides to return to her village near the Qinling Mountains.

Her main weapons are incredibly durable fans and used as ranged weapons. She is highly proficient in it as she was able to knock down Stella, but also strong enough to break projectile bamboos thrown at her and a panda by the corrupted Elas at the time. Mei Li appears to be very agile and swift in her movements, and a graceful dancer.

  • She bears some resemblance to Musa during Season 1.
  • Depending on the Chinese characters used to spell her name, it can either mean "charm, fascination, glamor, charisma" or "beautiful".[1]
  • Her hairstyle resembles that of Chun-Li's from Street Fighter, specifically her Alpha hairstyle.
