Illiris is the Keeper of the Solarian Ocean Gate and Stella's bonded Selkie.
Appearance
Illiris has tan skin, purplish blue eyes with pink eye shadows, orange lips and orange body-tail with striped patterns. She wears an orange spiral shell-shaped hat decorated by a pink star. A transparent yellow veil is attached to the hat. She has yellow symbol on her forehead, which consists of a big yellow star, attached with three smaller yellow stars.
Personality
According to Stella, Illiris has a great sense of humor, just like her bonded fairy.
Series
Season 5
In "The Shimmering Shells", when Tritannus attempted to enter the Solarian Gate, he was stopped by Illiris, who declared, "Stop, creature! You may not enter!" They engaged in a brief fight, which Tritannus won, resulting in Illiris losing her abilities. Later, Lemmy introduces Illiris to Stella; they bond, restoring Illiris's powers. She also made a brief appearance in Melody, helping Stella and Aisha break Tritannus's spell that turned Musa a into monster.
In, "Secret of The Ruby Reef", she came with Phylla, Lemmy, and Nissa to warn King Neptune and Tressa that Teitannus turned Nereus and Ligea into mutant monsters. Just then, Tritannus arrived and they hid behind Neptune's throne while he and Tressa fight Tritannus. Unfortunately, Tritannus turned them into mutants as well.
In "The Emperor's Throne," she along with the other Selkies helped the Winx battle Tritannus.
Illiris was also seen along with the other Selkies in "Battle for the Infinite Ocean," coming from the portal that was summoned by the Breath of the Ocean.
Movies
The Mystery of the Abyss
Illiris appears alongside Omnia and was trying to get away but Tritannus got there in time before she could escape. Herself and the other Selkies were trapped in a stormy barrier, preventing them to not leaving it and were covered by something not letting them to speak. Then herself and the Selkies followed to the Winx where the hidden pearl was and stays outside to warn Omnia if Tritannus escaped with the pearl. She was last saw when they danced around in a line then Omnia.

Magical Abilities
Illiris, with the aid of the star symbol on her forehead, she can close and open the gate to Solaria, enter the Infinite Ocean and shoot orange/yellow energy bolts. She can also converge her powers along with other selkies as seen in multiple episodes in Season 5.
As seen in "The Emperor's Throne," she and the other selkies can converge their powers to give the Winx a power boost.
Trivia
- Illiris's name is a reference to the word illuminate, which is understandable since she is the Keeper of Solarian ocean gate, the planet of sun.
- Illiris's name might also be a reference to the Italian female name Illaria.
