Kyu is the strongest member of the Patchamen thanks to his cyborg body, which also allows him to disassemble at will. He dubs himself as "The Mighty One" thanks to his cybernetic strength.

• With the Patchamen being a direct reference to the anime Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, Kyu acts as a parody to the bulkiest member of the Gatchaman team, Ryu the Owl.
• Despite being said to go to Earth with the rest of the Patchamen, he and the rest of the team are never seen again.
• A submission from South Korea says the name Kyu means "Star" and is of Korean origin.
