Tlazolli is a major antagonist of the 2020 action role-playing fantasy game, Genshin Impact who serves as the main antagonist of the Children of Echoes's Tribal Chronicles: A Prayer for Blessings, Told to Crested Peaks.
History
Past
Tlazolli was an Ancient Name forger and Xilonen's mentor. Years before the events of the game, her daughter, Nechca, was killed in an attack from the Abyss. Another child named Nepecha, who happened to share the same birthday as Nechca, was also orphaned in the attack. Thus, Tlazolli took in Nepecha out of her grief from being unable to save her daughter.
The guilt from her loss however, would later manifest into a delusional desire to try and turn Nepecha into Nechca. To fulfill this desire, she would spread the idea to her tribe members that Nechca was still alive and suffered memory loss due to Abyssal energy. Under the claim that the Abyssal energy was making her sick, Tlazolli isolated Nepecha to prevent her from revealing the truth, and even drugged her to make her constantly tired and therefore unable to properly remember.
