Lord Ravager Phantylia (Chinese: Huànlóng (幻胧)) briefly known as Phantylia the Undying, is a major antagonist and boss fight in the 2023 science fantasy turn-based tactical role-playing video game Honkai: Star Rail.

Phantylia is a heliobus who served as one of the Lord Ravagers of the Antimatter Legion and an Emanator of Nanook the Destruction. When it came to implementing destruction, Phantylia preferred to sow discord among her victims before decimating them.

Phantylia is voiced by Ying Huang in Chinese (Who voiced Arlecchino / Peruere Snezhevna in Genshin Impact), by Tara Langella in English dub, by Yu Bo-ra in the Korean dub, and by Yurika Hino in the Japanese dub.

Personality

A sadistic being who pleasures in destruction, Phantylia prefers to manipulate events behind to scene to watch a system slowly destroy itself rather than destroying it with brute force. Terrifyingly, she is perfectly capable of doing so, being able to pose as Tingyun and manipulate Dan Shu to spread mara all across the Xianzhou Luofu. Being ruthless, she is quick to betray Dan Shu once she has outlived her usefulness, corrupting her and her followers into Antimatter Legion voidrangers.

At the same time, Phantylia is highly arrogant, talking about mortals as though they're ants that she could crush easily. This is proven to be her weakness as it causes her to underestimate Jing Yuan’s power when she tries to turn him into a voidranger, leaving an opening for Inbibitor Lunae to slash her down.

Biography

Phantylia is one of the Lord Ravagers that serve Nanook, the Aeon of Destruction. She was sent to the space station of Xianzhou Luofu to destroy it. Preferring to slowly destroy it from within, Phantylia infiltrated the Xianzhou Luofu while taking the form of the Foxian lady Tingyun. She took and smuggled a Stellaron into the Xianzhou Luofu, meanwhile convincing Dan Shu, the cult leader of the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus into reviving the Ambrosial Arbor to overthrow the Ten-Lords Commission, the judges of the Luofu. The Stellaron Phantylia brought to the Luofu also worsened the Mara epidemic, causing more people to fall victims into turning into the Mara-Struck.

Powers

Heliobus Physiology: Phantylia was an exceptionally powerful member of a species known as the "heliobi." Heliobi bodies were comprised entirely of energy, and as such it was usually impossible for heliobi to make physical contact with matter and vice versa.
- Energy Manipulation: Whereas heliobi couldn't directly make contact with matter, they could interact with the various forms of energy that existed around them.
- Possession: She manages to possesses Tingyun and completely hijack her body. And once Phantylia manages to bring the heroes pitting against Dan Shu, leader of Disciples of Sanctus Medicus, she discards her own puppet by snapping the latter's neck.
Master Manipulator: She is the mastermind behind the Denizens of Abundance War to sow discord to Denizens of Abundance and Xianzhou Luofu. She also use the identity "Mangas" to manipulate the Followers of Abundance such as The Borisins like Hoolay to becoming Terrorists.
Body of the Arbor: After obtaining the power of Ambrosial Arbor, Phantylia becomes a corporeal being harnessing the powers of Abundance and Destruction to cause the destruction of Xianzhou Luofu.

Abilities

Elemental Manipulation: Phantylia harnesses at least three elements within her forms, wind, lightning, and imaginary.
Body of the Arbor
- Acchata: Phantylia flicks an enemy, dealing (wind/lightning) damage on a single target depending on the phases.
- Weaving Roots: Phantylia manipulates the power of the Ambrosial Arbor to attack a single target, dealing (wind, imaginary, or lightning (Apocalyptic Shadow only)) damage depending on the phases.
- Abundance Form (First Phase)
  - Phantylia's Tuanshan: With her newly acquired corporeal body, she can able to generate strong winds to deal damage. She does this attack on phase 1 only.
  - Burgeoning Bloom: Summons two Abundance Lotus. This ability returns in final phase.
- Destruction Form (Second Phase)
  - Starfall, Mooncry: In the beginning of the second phase, she deals lightning damage to multiple targets with a sphere of destruction symbolize her allegiance as a Lord Ravager.
    - In Apocalyptic Shadow, she will shifts into her Abundance form or Destruction form in the first phase.
  - Kalpa Descend: Set a Destruction Lotus to a single target. The said Destruction Lotus will be in bloom status and becomes vulnerable to specific elemental weakness. This ability returns in final phase.
    - Havoc: Deals a devastating lightning (and imaginary damage in final phase) to a single enemy targeted by Destruction Lotus.
- Abundance + Destruction Power Combination: In this form, Phantylia will combine the powers of Abundance and Destruction, and summoning the lotus of Abundance and Destruction in the same time.
  - Furor: Phantylia deals imaginary damage to a single target and then the adjacent targets.
  - Arbor Apotheosis: Phantylia deals severe imaginary damage to all targets.
  - Eternal Condemnation: After marking the targets with either Abundance or Destruction Lotus, she will entrap the party within a lotus, dealing severe imaginary damage. The more targets were marked by the lotus, the more increased the damage dealt. This ability is exclusive to the Apocalyptic Shadow variant.
Abundance Lotus: Two phantom flowers of Abundance summoned by Phantylia, it can hinder her opponent's efforts for her advantage.
Destruction Lotus: Two phantom flowers of Destruction summoned by Phantylia, she would use it to trap her enemies to prepare a devastating attack.
- Black Prana's Snare: Reduce target's Maximum HP limit by 40%.
