The Dustlers were the skeletal footsoldiers of the Vader Clan and recurring antagonists in Denshi Sentai Denziman.
Biographies
Past
Hailing from the Vader Dimension, the Dustlers and the Vader Clan began attacking different parts of the universe as Queen Hedrian wanted to be the only beautiful thing in the universe even if she had to kill everyone in existence. Three thousand years ago, the Vader Clan crossed over to our universe from the Vader Dimension and leadership began a campaign of marauding planets. Among the worlds they attacked was the planet Denzi and left it completely devastated.
Denziman
The Vader Clan eventually come to Earth seeking to invade it. By this time the Vader Castle crew consists of Queen Hedrian, her handmaidens Keller & Mirror and the Vader military commander General Hedrer whilst their field officer Amazon Killer is off in deep space on an unrelated mission. In response to the Vader Clan's advent, IC recruits five humans descended from the Denzi people to become the Denziman and defend the Earth.
When Demon King Banriki and the Vader Monster Sakkalar begin making preparations to take control of the Vader Clan, numerous Dustlers join Banriki in his coup with the promise of being allowed to party. After Banriki became ruler, the Dustlers throw a feast and begin celebrating. However, after Queen Hedrian retakes control, the Dustlers who defected are all either put to work or executed for their betrayal. Many Dustlers are killed during the final battle and, if any remained in the Vader Castle, they are killed when Queen Hedrian destroys her base as she goes into hiding.
Timeranger
20 years later, the Timerangers embark on a journey to understand the previous Sentai teams by using the TimeJets to revisit thier battles. They arrive in the time of Denshiman where they see the very first Dustlers sent to Earth being defeated.
Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger
Several Dustlers are part of an army of past enemy grunts fought by the Gokaigers in Los Dark's ghost dimension which houses the 1500 spirits of the villains defeated by the Super Sentai. After losing some of their number in an initial skirmish, the remaining members from each grunt group merged to form the Combined Combatant. Though the stronger opponent, the Combined Combatant proves to be unstable due to internal conflicting among the grunts composing him over who got to finish the pirates off. Taking advantage, the Gokaigers use the Battle Fever J Ranger Keys to destroy the Combined Combatant with the Penta Force cannon.
Zenkaiger
After breaking his seal and escaping from the Agastia Base, Asmodeus summons the Kamen Rider and Super Sentai books from off the shelves and uses them to call forth an army of villains previously defeated by the Kamen Riders and Super Sentai which include a platoon of Dustlers. Many are destroyed but most of the Dustlers survive long enough to see Asmodeus' plans seemingly come to fruition until Touma Kamiyama manages to help Shotaro himself regain his passion for drawing out superheroes which, in turn, revives all of the Kamen Riders and the Super Sentai teams back into existence. Ultimately, the entire army itself is be wiped out by the full and combined might of Kamen Rider Saber as well as his fellow swordsmen and the Zenkaigers along with Zocks Goldtsuiker supported by the Kamen Riders and the previous Red Rangers.
Powers and Abilities
- Longevity: The Dustlers survived for at least 3000 years with no negative side effects.
- Agility: The Dustlers could jump, roll, handstand and dive around the battlefield very easily.
- Teleportation: The Dustlers could teleport to any location at will by disappearing and reappearing at will.
- Instant Teleportation: The Dustlers could also instantly teleport around at will quickly enough to avoid punches from the Denzimen.
- Super Jumps: The Dustlers could launch high enough into the air to reach the dimensional tears into the Vader Dimension on multiple occasions.
- Human Transformation: The Vaders could turn into a variety of human forms depending on what fitted the specific scheme.
- Combination: As seen in Gokaiger, the Dustlers could fuse with the other footsoldiers to form the Combined Combatant.
Arsenal
- Sickles: All of the Dustlers wielded large silver sickles in battle.
- Projectile Throw: The Dustlers could also throw their sickles or as projectiles to impale their enemies.
- Grenades: For ranged attacks, some Dustlers could throw grenades to try and attack thier enemies.
- Smoke Bombs: The Dustlers could drop smoke bombs to flee from battle.
